Bluebond Tax Planning are looking for an experienced Part Time Financial Paraplanner with at least 3 years paraplanner experience to join our team. The role will be either 25 hours or 20 hours per week depending on how many days you want to work.
It will be the responsibility of the Financial Paraplanner to work closely with our existing administration team and support the team and IFA with technical support and producing reports for new and prospective clients who are looking to resolve their inheritance tax problems. The ideal candidate for this role will either be a fully qualified Paraplanner or part way towards their full qualification. This role can be worked remotely from home or from our office in Wheathampstead.
Bluebond Tax Planning is a firm of fee-based Financial Planners specialising in inheritance tax advice, based in Wheathampstead in Hertfordshire. We offer a relatively unique service of bringing together legal advice, financial advice and tax advice in a one stop planning process to help people with Inheritance tax problems.
We pride ourselves on offering an excellent client experience in supporting and advising our High-Net-Worth clients in their inheritance tax and Estate planning. All our new clients have a significant inheritance tax problem– most with assets exceeding £2 million.
We have been in business for more than 20 years and are growing quickly due to a recent very successful internet marketing program. We currently talk to around 25 new HNW prospective clients a month.
There are currently 6 people in our UK team and 4 people in our internet marketing team in India.

Bluebond Tax Planning not only survived through the recent pandemic, but as actually thrived as we have seen strong continuous growth in the business. For this reason, we are now looking to welcome a committed and experienced Financial Paraplanner to help build our business even further.
This role will require the following responsibilities:
This is a part time role offered at either 20 or 25 hours per week (YOUR CHOICE) as follows:
Monday, Tuesday, Thursday & Friday 9.30am – 2.30pm (20 hours)
Or
Monday – Friday 9.30am – 2.30pm (25 hours)
The salary will be very competitive and related to experience. The person appointed can expect an immediate salary rise of 10% based on current salary (PRO RATA) with another 5% rise after 6 months and a further 5% rise after a year dependent on performance. You could live anywhere in the UK as the role will be home based.
Holidays start at 20 days per year based on a 5-day working week (16 days for a 4 day working week)with an extra day off for every calendar year working within the firm with a maximum of 25 days paid holiday. You will receive statutory bank holidays in addition to this. The firm shuts between Christmas Eve and 2nd January, and in addition to contracted holidays, everyone is normally given these extra 2-3 days off on full pay, subject to the Director's discretion.

We place a huge emphasis on only appointing the right candidate with a good fit for the role and the team. Therefore, our interview process is significantly more detailed and meticulous than people normally expect.
Our whole team review all CVs, cover letters and application videos sent to us in depth.
From this we will invite successful applicants to an initial 30-minute interview to be held over Zoom.
If successful, candidates will then be invited to a 90-minute interview held over Zoom to discuss their CV in more depth. Salary scales and any questions you have on the company will be fully covered at this interview, so if invited, you can determine if you wish to progress to the next stage.
Should candidates progress to the next stage, they will then be invited to attend a 90 minute interview over Zoom where we with assess your suitability for the role using competency and personality based questions.
The last interview which will also be around 2 hours will also include some competency and personality tests
Full telephone references will be taken up with previous employers before we offer the role to the successful applicant.
Initial interviews will be held at the beginning of October.
